 Istanbul. De Hagia Sofia Moskee. (532-537 A.D.) Gebouwd in 536 na Chr., gebouwd als Byzantijnse domkerk. Door de Osmanen in een moskee veranderd. Sinds 1934 een museum. De Hagia Sofia Moskee. ‘kerk der goddelijke wijsheid’ (Haghia Sophia), bevond zich in het centrum van het oude Byzantium en kenmerkt zich door de enorme koepel.
